The Royal Chitwan National
Park, lying south of Kathmandu adjacent to the Indian border,
is the oldest and one of the largest national parks in the world.
In 1984, it was listed as a World Heritage Site. This lowland
has a subtropical climate producing tropical fruits and vegetables
- the sweetest ever tasted. Apart from the 43 species of mammals,
you will encounter the endangered one horned rhino, the royal
bengal tiger, wild elephants, etc.
For
centuries Tibet has fascinated mankind. This land beyond the
mighty Himals on the highest plateau in the world was almost
